「 面壁坐禅 」 坐禅は壁を前にして坐ります
Face-wall Zazen,Zazen is sitting just in front of the wall
でもこれでは、圧迫感を感じるでしょうか？
何故そう感じるのでしょう
私達は、対象に対して視線を飛ばしてるかも ？
But this will feel oppressive.
Why do we feel that way?
We may be skipping the power of the eye to the target.
でも壁が前にあっては、目の力を飛ばそうとしても邪魔されます
But with a wall in front of you, you'll be hindered in your attempts to make your eyes fly.
では坐禅をする人は、どのようにして壁と向き合ってるのか ？
So how do zazen practitioners face the wall?
「 正法眼蔵 」 という目の扱い方

眼の蔵とはどう言う意味でしょう
蔵とは、ものを収めて置く場所です
坐禅者は目の力を外に漏らさず、蔵に収めている

A storehouse is a place where things are stored.
The zazen practitioner does not let the power of the eyes leak outward, but keeps it in the storehouse
but keeps it in the storehouse
意志の力で眉間を鉄壁な壁にしちゃいます
その壁へ、月へも届くほどの勢いの目の力をぶつけます
それは壁に当たり、跳ね返されます
外に向けたものが、内に帰って来ます
I'm going to make an iron wall between my eyebrows by sheer force of will.
To that wall, we will hit the power of the eye with such force that it will reach the moon!
It hits the wall and bounces back.

目の力を外に漏らさない自分自身の眉間のことです
