わづかに三箇年の功夫kuhu なりといへども

これ光陰をいたづらにもらさざるによりて
わづかに三箇年の功夫kuhu なりといへども
三菩提 san-bodai の正眼 syo-gen を単伝す
尊者の在胎六十年なり。出胎 syu-tai 白髪なり

それは、今の頭骨が思考の器になったように
遠い未来に、思考の器になるだろう
遠い過去には、今の頭骨がこうなるとは
とても思えなかったように
The future of the scapula, the future of the kneecap
That, just as the skull is now a vessel for thought
In the distant future, it will be a vessel for thought
In the distant past.
I never thought my skull would look like this now.
坐禅において、両手両腕で円を形成します
その扇の要に、肩甲骨が位置します
In zazen, both hands and arms form a circle.

遠い未来
人間は頭骨の中で思考しなくなるだろう
肩甲骨が進化してその円の中で思考するだろう
The distant future
Man will no longer think within his skull.

これは夢物語にしか聞こえません
しかし、どんな場所においても
例えば、電車の中、会社の椅子
背筋を伸ばし、両手両腕、そして肩甲骨で
円相をつくってみたとします
