花火が、どう砕け散るか

濁りなき心の水にすむ月は 波もくだけて光とぞなる
...................................................傘松道詠 san-syo-do-ei
目に見えない川が流れて来て
今ここで落下し、滝となります
目に見えない壁に当たり、砕け散ります
砕け散ると、目に見えます
An invisible river comes down
Falls here and now and becomes a waterfall
It hits an invisible wall and shatters
When it shatters, it is visible
これが物質の在り様であり
この身体の真の姿だと
まるで花火のようです
This is the way matter is.
This is the true state of this body.
It's like fireworks.
しかし、物質もこの身体も
一瞬では、消え去りません
何故でしょう？
But neither matter nor this body
Will not disappear in an instant.
Why is that?
目に見えない川が
継続して流れて来るからでしょう
An invisible river.
Perhaps it's because it flows continually
一瞬で消える花火
それゆえ、物であれ、肉体であれ
今を、捉える事はできません
Fireworks that disappear in an instant
Therefore, no matter if it is a thing or a body
Cannot capture the present moment
一瞬で消え去る花火
それが途切れる事なく続いてる
しかし、この花火を止めることは出来ません
また、この花火大会をどこまでも延長することも無理です
Fireworks that disappear in an instant.
And they continue uninterrupted.
But we can't stop these fireworks.
And it is also impossible to extend this fireworks display as far as possible
では、坐禅において
何が行われているのでしょう？
So, in zazen
What is being done?
花火が、どう砕け散るか
それを、微妙に調整してる
How the fireworks shatter.
And they're subtly adjusting it.
