求心力が明らかになります

正法眼蔵 辨道話（ １３８）
しるべし、仏法に
心性 sin-syo 大総相 dai-soso の法門といふは
一大法界をこめて、性相 syo-so をわかず、生滅をいふことなし
坐禅では、三角錐の４つの頂点を張る事が出来ます
In zazen, we can stretch the four vertices of a triangular pyramid
「 何故これが、仏法なのでしょう ？ 」 これが、大きな問いです
Why is this the Buddha Dharma ? This is the big question.
私達は、縦・横・奥行の３次元構造の中に生きています
We live in a three-dimensional structure of length, width, and depth
三角錐には、４つの頂点があります
A triangular pyramid has four vertices
４つの頂点を目一杯張ったとします
Suppose we have stretched the four vertices to their fullest.
それ以上は行けない境界が、明らかになります
Boundaries that cannot go any further are revealed.
それと同時に内に引き戻そうとする求心力が明らかになります
At the same time, it reveals the centripetal forces that are pulling us back inward.
