正法眼蔵 辨道話（ ６６）
かるがゆゑに
冥陽 mei-yo の神道もきたり帰依し
.................釈尊の遺産
.................The Legacy of Sakyamuni
.................坐禅は、その精髄に他なりません
.................Zazen is nothing short of the essence of it
.................それゆえ、鬼神も帰依します
.................for this reason、
.................fierce god of light and shadow
.................become a believer in Zazen
証果の羅漢 ra-kan もきたり問法するに
.................既に道をえた羅漢
.................RAKAN who have already arrived
.................やって来て、智慧を問うても
.................Even if he come and ask for wisdom
おのおの心地 sin-ti を
開明する手をさづけずといふことなし
.................坐禅と言う身体の運用
.................The operation of the body called zazen
.................これ自体が、深い智慧を開示します
.................This in itself discloses deep wisdom
余門に、いまだきかざるところなり
.................このような事は、坐禅以外では聞きません
.................You don't hear this kind of thing outside of zazen.
ただ仏弟子は仏法をならふべし
.................仏の弟子は、坐禅を習うべきなのです
.................Buddha disciple should learn zazen
