正法眼蔵 辨道話（１１）
節目 setu-moku にかかはらぬむねあらはれき
（ 仏典は読むものでなく
（ 行うものだと言う事
Buddhist texts are not something to read
That's what we do
（ 時計の職人さんが ピンセットで
（ 時計の部品を丁寧に掴んでいます
Watchmaker with tweezers
To grasp the parts carefully
（ 同じように
（ 背と腹の皮にピンセントをあて
（ そして、この身を真っすぐ立てる
In the same way
Hold the skin of back and belly
with tweezers
And stand this body straight
（ このように、身体を掌握するとは
（ どんな意味があるのでしょう？
in this way
What does it mean to take control of the body?
（ 目の前にあるものを掴むのではなく
（ まさに、この身を掴む
Instead of grabbing what is in front of you
Exactly grab this body
（ 無限の彼方とも言える 「黄道十二宮」
（ それが私達の身体を担ってる
（ 私達が、これを意識する事はありません
Zodiac
It can be said to be an infinite distance
This body is carried by it
We are not aware of this
（ 黄道十二宮
（ それは見上げるものでなく
（ ここへ降りて来て
（ 花火のように自分を現わし、そして消える
Zodiac
It's not something to look up at
Come down here
Like fireworks
Show yourself and disappear
（ 静かに坐すとは、この身を掴む事
（ この身を掴むとは
（ 黄道十二宮から自身を見る事
To sit quietly is to grasp this body firmly
To grab this body is to see this body from Zodiac
（ 天と人との照応
（ 無意識で推移してるものを、浮かび上がらせる
（ この坐禅の摂理が、公開されたのです
Anaphora between heaven and people
Bring out what is unconsciously changing
This providence of zazen was released.
